As healers
It was a wintery day. The rain stopped and I, a young child in Netanya – decided to walk outside. I went out of our gate and kept on walking. There, on the side of the rocky road was a pinkish red petalled flower. I loved its variegated heart shaped green leaves and the five petalled flower. The air was cool and fresh and as I bent down to look at the flower more closely I heard
“This is an ancient love. A mother’s unconditional love.”
I missed my mother. She was far away and I longed for her loving tender words.
The flower felt comforting. I felt protected, loved and stronger in spirit. Suddenly, I heard my father calling me to come back home. I thanked this wintery flower – the cyclamen – and went back home.
Yes, cyclamens are soul healers. They heal those who feel they
- need protection from the harsh elements around them
- lack maternal love
- are surrounded by negative energies and need cleansing
- need support in times of turmoil
- have physical symptoms that are emotionally based
- lack inspiration and creativity
- can’t complete set tasks/ have low self esteem
- are in repetitive cycles of personal/ cultural/ religious/ ethnic abuse
- need more light and love in their life
