Music Player Instruction: play and watch your breath
Preparation
- find a tree of your choice/ ask its permission for healing
- get 1 or 6 plates/ dishes/ a porcelain marker
- glue/ craft materials such as string, beads, metal scraps
- a board
Procedure
- go to the tree of your choice and give it a hug
- sit under it with your plate[s]/ dish[es]/ craft materials
- reflect on what is stopping you from laughing
anger/ fear/ guilt/ jealousy/ sadness/ hopelessness - write the emotion on a plate
- take in a few deep breaths/ pick up the plate/ feel the emotion you’d like to release
- exhale with a vowel sound of ah/ ee/ oh/ oo/ u/ while smashing the plate
- when complete look at your smashed plate and start laughing – pretending at first is OK
- watch the momentum build to a true laughter
- still laughing – hug the tree
- notice you are ONE with the tree
- a laughing tree is happening
- pick up the smashed pieces
- using your board/ craft materials and smashed pieces create a collage
- note the change in your emotions as you create – kindness/ appreciation/ compassion/ forgiveness/ love/ joy
- thank the collage/ the tree/ your higher self for the laughter and healing
