It’s Spring!
Time for cleaning the house. Clearing our thoughts and cleansing the body.
Take a duster, vacuum cleaner and broom to clean the house.
Meditate to clear the mind.
Cleanse and detox the body by planning and preparing for the day and daily exercise.
Some tips for keeping your body and mind alive and well in Spring:

  • Have limited or no sugar, alcohol,red meat nor gluten.
  • Have a glass of warm water with lemon juice and or a spoonful of apple cider vinegar in the morning.
  • Have herbal teas such as Dandelion and Milk thistle.
  • Have a green smoothie –  kale, cucumber, avocado, celery and parsley in coconut water.
  • Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
  • Meatarians – have turkey, chicken and white fish
  • Vegetarians/ vegans – have hemp seeds, nuts and sprouted pulses.
  • Include fats in your diet such as avocado, flaxseed, olives and coconut.
  • Have green salads, vegetables and fresh fruit daily.
