A Wintery Day by the Bay
Standing at the Bay on a cold wintery day
Dressed warmly with my buttoned up coat
Watching the waves come and go
Reminding me of the old stories I need to let go
The wind hounding and a few rain drops too
Feeling chilled to the bones and the stories continue on
There, on the Bay voices of children at play
Showing the way
Time to say goodbye to this plight
Gently moving onto a new path
With a lighter heart
Leaving behind the angry sounding Bay on a wintery day
